Your draft is not analytics data

The browser diagnostic runs on your device. Site measurement is deliberately narrow, and Google Analytics stays off until you allow it.

The diagnostic on this website analyzes text locally in your browser. Your draft, findings, and revision prompt are not sent to WROITER, Google Analytics, or Cloudflare Web Analytics.

If you deliberately use WROITER through its HTTP API or an MCP integration, the text you submit is sent to WROITER’s Cloudflare Worker so it can return the analysis. The application processes that text in memory and does not write request bodies or results to a database, file, analytics event, or custom log. There is no WROITER account to attach it to. Worker observability is enabled, so Cloudflare can retain invocation, error, route, status, timing, and network metadata under its service terms. If an AI client sends the request, that provider also processes the text under its own terms.

Cloudflare Pages hosts this website and Cloudflare hosts the API. Cloudflare therefore processes ordinary request and network metadata needed to deliver and protect both services, whether or not the optional Web Analytics beacon is enabled.

Site analytics

The analytics events WROITER defines do not include draft text, generated prompts, findings, clipboard contents, raw errors, email addresses, or a WROITER visitor ID.

Google Analytics 4

Google Analytics loads only after you choose Allow analytics. It receives the page’s canonical URL without its query string or fragment, the static page title, a broad page group, a reduced referrer, accepted campaign tags, and a short list of product actions such as a completed diagnostic or a successful integration-link copy. Product actions use fixed categories rather than the content you entered.

The fixed canonical URL never includes a query string or fragment. WROITER keeps only one valid value for each of utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, and utm_content; values may contain only letters, numbers, hyphens, and underscores. Other parameters, duplicate or invalid campaign values, utm_term, utm_id, and advertising click IDs are dropped. A recognized internal referrer keeps only its canonical path, while an external referrer is reduced to its origin.

Google may set its _ga cookies to distinguish a consenting browser. WROITER configures those cookies and the local consent decision to expire after 180 days without renewal. Google Signals, advertising features, and user-provided-data collection are disabled. Event-level retention is controlled in the GA property; standard aggregated reports can remain longer. Google processes the data under its privacy policy.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled as a separate, cookieless comparison of visits and page performance. It does not use the Google consent decision. WROITER loads its manual beacon only on the production site and only for a clean page load: URLs with a query string or fragment, and referrers that could expose more than a safe origin or recognized WROITER path, are excluded. Cloudflare says its Web Analytics beacon does not use cookies, local storage, or cross-site fingerprinting. Cloudflare processes the resulting measurement under its privacy policy and service retention controls.

Web analytics has coverage gaps: blockers, browser restrictions, sampling, excluded URLs, and failed beacons all affect the totals. WROITER treats it as a comparison, not a census.

Your controls

  • No thanks keeps Google Analytics off. Actions that happened before consent are not buffered or replayed.
  • Analytics preferences in the footer lets you change the decision. Withdrawal stops future Google collection and removes the analytics cookies set by this implementation; it cannot erase events a provider has already received.
  • Exclude this browser from measurement suppresses Google immediately and both providers on later page loads. A Cloudflare beacon already loaded on the current page can only be excluded after a reload.
  • The consent choice expires after 180 days. The browser-exclusion choice remains until you clear it. Changes are shared with other open WROITER tabs when browser storage works.

If browser storage is unavailable, the consent choice lasts only for the current document. WROITER does not infer “internal traffic” from your IP address, location, or VPN.
