Diagnostic: see what detectors see
Paste text below. The diagnostic runs in your browser, flags AI-typical patterns by name, and shows you exactly what triggered the score. This is a style diagnostic, not an authorship detector — the difference matters.
Run analysis
Minimum input: 50 words. Your text is processed in-browser for this V1 release.
What you get back
- Slop score (0–100) — higher means stronger overlap with AI-typical patterns.
- Rhythm metrics — word count, sentence count, average sentence length, standard deviation, and burstiness.
- Pattern flags — every triggered pattern with its label, severity, count, and an explanation of what it means. You can find each flag in the text and decide for yourself whether it matters.
The flags are the useful part. If you only look at the number, you are using the tool wrong.
Interpretation
A higher score means the text overlaps more strongly with AI-typical surface patterns. It does not prove who wrote it, and it should never be used as standalone evidence of cheating or intent. Formal prose, second-language writing, and heavily edited text can all score high without any AI involvement. For score ranges and the full interpretation boundary, see How It Works. For known false-positive risks, see Limitations.

The method hub documents everything behind this tool: how the score is assembled, what each pattern looks like with examples, where the method fails, and what changed and when. WROITER is diagnostic-first and anti-bypass — the purpose is better writing and better judgment, not evasion.
